Joseph Lee decided that there was too much litter in Cooks River. After several attempts to get Sydney Water & local Councils to take responsibility for the litter in the River & getting no action, Joseph decided that he would take action himself.

Joseph has started to remove litter from one of the worst sites on the River – the mangroves just east of Canterbury Road bridge, on the Canterbury Station side. Single-handed he has climbed down to the River’s edge & bagged and removed masses of litter.
