The Mudcrabs – Working Bees

The Mudcrabs conduct regular working bees along the Cooks River. These consist of river clean-up sessions and bushcare/regeneration to restore local native habitat.

You are welcome to attend any of these events – no need to register just turn up. We have tools and experienced instructors on-site. We suggest you bring your own gloves, hat & sunscreen.

Chris Bartlett Memorial River Walk

Chris Bartlett River Walk,  from 8am-12pm: A tour of all the Mudcrabs sites and celebration of our volunteers' work along the river. Start at our site at Rosedale Reserve and finish at our Gough Whitlam saltmarsh site in Earlwood.
Bring suitable walking shoes, sun protection, water, and snacks to eat along the way. The walk is named in memory of Chris Bartlett who led the first Mudcrabs river clean-ups and started the first Mudcrabs bushcare site at Rosedale
Reserve.
